Job summary

3 Bridge Networks LLC is partnering with a venture capital firm to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its growing finance team. This fully remote role offers exposure across fund accounting, investment activity, financial reporting, and fund operations.

The Senior Fund Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting and reporting for multiple venture capital funds, prepare financial statements, maintain ledgers, handle capital calls and investor allocations, and support audits and valuation processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with venture capital, private equity, or other alternative investment funds strongly preferred.
• Public accounting, fund administration, or in-house fund accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of partnership and investment fund accounting.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and reporting for multiple venture capital funds
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements
• Maintain fund-level general ledgers and supporting schedules
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• Track investment activity and portfolio company transactions
• Prepare and review partner capital account activity
• Support quarterly valuations and investment reporting
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, and other third-party service providers
• Assist with annual audits and tax reporting
• Support investor reporting and ad hoc requests
• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting as the firm continues to grow
