Job summary

Tech9 seeks an experienced software engineer to drive backend and frontend development in a remote, India-based team. You will design and maintain APIs with C# and ASP.NET, build Angular components, and implement microservices with a strong emphasis on secure, scalable cloud deployment.

The role requires 7+ years in backend development, solid Azure experience, and proficiency in PostgreSQL/MSSQL with Redis caching.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong expertise in ASP.NET 6+ (preferably ASP.NET 8+) and C#.
• Hands-on experience building front-end applications with Angular and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and deployment pipelines.
• Experience writing unit tests using tools such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using C# and ASP.NET.
• Frontend Development: Build responsive front-end features using Angular and TypeScript, integrated with backend APIs.
• Microservices Architecture: Develop and deploy modular, scalable services.
• API Design & Integration: Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/third-party systems.
• Database Management: Design schemas and optimize PostgreSQL and MSSQL.
• Cloud Development: Deploy and manage services in Microsoft Azure.
• Testing & Code Quality: Write unit tests; participate in peer reviews and enforce SOLID.
• Performance Optimization: Use Redis to cache data and resolve bottlenecks.
• Security: Apply security best practices across APIs and data handling.
• Collaboration: Work with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to architectural discussions and reduce technical debt.
