Wpromote is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to lead hands-on development across the Polaris platform. You will build and evolve full-stack features in React/TypeScript and Django/Python, own architecture, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production web applications.
• Strong hands-on React/TypeScript and Python/Django expertise.
• Deep React knowledge: hooks, architecture, accessibility, state management.
• Deep Django knowledge: ORM, migrations, auth, DRF or similar.
• Designing and operating RESTful APIs with third-party integrations.
• PostgreSQL relational modeling and query performance.
• Experience deploying containerized apps in cloud (GCP/Kubernetes a plus).
• Automated testing across stack: Vitest/Jest, Pytest, Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on technical work across frontend and backend.
• Design end-to-end features with React, Django, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with Product/UX to turn workflows into intuitive UIs.
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
