Job summary

Empassion is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own design, development, testing, and delivery of high-impact features across Vue.js frontend and Django REST APIs. You will collaborate with Data & Analytics and Clinical Operations to translate complex healthcare requirements into robust systems.

The role is remote-first with occasional travel and requires strong backend with Python, Django, DRF, PostgreSQL, and cloud+DevOps skills on GCP, Docker & Kubernetes, and CI/CD, driving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with a backend focus.
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise building scalable backend Web APIs.
• Expert-level Python proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Django and DRF (Django REST Framework).
• Solid DevOps fundamentals including CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Cloud infrastructure on GCP (Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage).
• Experience with Vue.js or React frontend, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
