Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our enterprise technology client’s team. This remote, US-based role partners with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, forecasts, and performance metrics.

You will lead planning cycles, mentor a high-performing FP&A team, and deliver insightful analyses of revenue, margins, and operational trends to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar quantitative field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, or budgeting.
• Strong problem-solving capability.
• Collaborative, team-oriented work style.
• Proven track record of achieving objectives.
• Detail-oriented with strong self-direction.
• Proficient in accounting software and systems.
• Experience with Salesforce and Adaptive Insights preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leaders, offering insights and recommendations.
• Influence financial and operational decisions regarding headcount, spending, and resource allocation.
• Lead annual planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
• Establish effective operating rhythms and accountability for planning and forecasting.
• Conduct hands-on financial modeling and enhance Adaptive Insights capabilities.
• Deliver accurate reporting and analysis for senior leadership, highlighting KPIs and operational trends.
• Improve visibility of revenue and margin metrics and identify areas for operational enhancement.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to enhance data quality and reporting processes.
• Drive ongoing improvements in FP&A processes and tools.
