Job summary

Deckers Brands in Los Angeles (Remote) or Goleta, CA (Hybrid) seeks a Sr. Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Analyst.

You will drive technical accounting research, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC rules, with occasional IFRS considerations. This hybrid role partners with Global Accounting Services, oversees SEC filings, supports new standards, maintains policy manuals, and leads quarterly reporting deliverables alongside cross‑functional teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA is a plus.
• 3 years of public accounting experience at a national firm.
• Experience with SEC, US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance research.
• Experience with Hyperion/Oracle, SAP BPC, OneStream, or similar ERP.
• Experience with Workiva for financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of new and revised accounting standards.
• Prepare technical accounting documentation for stock compensation, hedging, leases, and impairments.
• Monitor SEC disclosures and industry trends, and advise on responses.
• Maintain and update the global accounting policy manual.
• Lead global SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K/Q, 8-K, and proxy processes.
• Lead quarterly reporting deliverables with cross‑functional teams.
• Support SOX and external audit requests.
• Assist with process improvements using Workiva and Hyperion.
