CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Aetna Better Health of Virginia unit. This remote role supports finance with SQL-driven analysis, data interpretation, and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

The position requires strong SQL and Excel skills and a focus on accuracy and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will be curious, data-driven, and able to articulate trends to support financial and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database query languages (Intermediate to Advanced).
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
• Hands on experience with generative AI to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and escalation of issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide data and analysis to support healthcare quality and financial goals.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and packages.
• Develop and modify SQL code to deliver actionable insights from data.
• Manage and validate data from multiple sources using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Communicate processes and requirements to business and technical staff.
• Identify trends and outliers using SQL to inform leadership decisions.
• Prepare ad hoc reports using SQL and Excel; create new reports as needed.
