Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support multi-state accounting from a remote-capable role in Albany, OR. You will perform closing, journal entries, and reporting with adherence to GAAP.

Responsibilities include ASC 842 lease accounting, audits, and process improvements, in collaboration with the controller and operations team. A bachelor's in accounting/finance and 3+ years in senior accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior accounting function.
• Lease accounting experience under ASC 842.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions purchase accounting support.
• ERP experience required; MS Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records and activities for accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure ASC 842 lease accounting and related journal entries are correct.
• Support audits and internal audits; prepare documentation.
• Perform closing activities and accurate financial reporting.
