Job summary

TriLink BioTechnologies, part of Maravai LifeSciences, seeks a Senior Field Application Scientist to lead scientific engagements and translate requirements into custom solutions for gRNA, oligonucleotide, and mRNA technologies.

You will partner with Business Development and Commercial teams, provide technical leadership across customer engagements, and travel up to 30% to support meetings and events. This role drives scientific strategy and customer success.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Genomics, or related discipline; 2–5 years of relevant experience; or bachelor's degree with 13+ years or master's with 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagements as scientific SME for gRNA, oligonucleotide, and mRNA technologies.
• Develop scientific recommendations and technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Translate VOC and literature into product recommendations and portfolio strategy.
• Lead technical proposals, SOWs, and customer-facing documentation.
• Travel up to 30% to support meetings, conferences, and BD activities.
