Job summary

Aptive Resources is seeking an experienced IOTA Senior Transition Planner to support planning and execution of facility transitions and relocations for the VA Martinsburg Warehouse IOTA project. Remote with travel to Martinsburg, WV as needed.

The Senior Transition Planner will develop detailed transition plans to ensure relocation of personnel, equipment, furnishings, supplies, and operations according to occupancy schedules.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of transition planning and relocation experience on multi-phased projects.
• Experience coordinating move sequences and occupancy milestones.
• Ability to work across departments and with leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive facility transition and relocation plans.
• Establish occupancy milestones, move schedules, and sequencing.
• Coordinate transition activities across departments and operational functions.
• Develop detailed departmental move plans with responsibilities, timelines and resources.
• Coordinate relocation requirements for personnel, equipment, furnishings, and supplies.
• Identify transition risks and potential disruptions and plan mitigations.
• Support advance planning and occupancy readiness activities.
• Coordinate with facility leadership, logistics, vendors, and installation teams.
• Track milestones and resolve scheduling or resource conflicts.
• Support move execution and post-move issue resolution.
• Maintain transition documentation and readiness reports.
• Coordinate with Activation Project Manager to align with project schedules.
