Job summary

Complete Fence Residential is seeking a Senior Estimator for a fully remote role based in Batavia, IL. You will lead bid takeoffs, prepare detailed proposals, and mentor junior estimators to deliver accurate, competitive pricing and complete handoffs to Operations.

You will partner with Sales and Operations, manage multiple bids, source vendors, and maintain cost databases. Requires 3+ years in construction and proficiency with Stack Takeoff, CAD, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating or preconstruction.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents and specs.
• Proficiency with takeoff software (Stack preferred), CAD, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed bids, proposals, and takeoffs for complex projects.
• Review and mentor junior estimators to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations on scope, schedule and budgets.
• Develop estimating strategies aligned with profitability and competitiveness.
• Ensure complete, accurate handoffs of awarded projects to Operations.
• Maintain cost databases, pricing libraries, and vendor relationships.
