Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution across PV, battery storage and high voltage projects. The role involves mentoring less-experienced schedulers and traveling to job sites to understand methods and conditions.

The position requires coordinating with engineering, procurement, project management, and field teams to ensure CPM-based schedules with realistic durations and buy-in from owners and consultants.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and CPM scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their development.
• Contribute to training curriculum development for schedule management.
• Participate in onboarding to align with project controls objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6.
• Analyze project documents to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish activity durations.
• Consult with internal teams for feedback and with external stakeholders to gain buy-in.
• Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and durations.
• Attend project meetings to gather updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly with actuals and critical path deviations.
• Propose corrective actions and communicate updates to teams and managers.
• Lead internal and external meetings and maintain delay logs.
