Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist to provide advanced engineering, clinical and educational support for the EP portfolio. You will serve as a senior clinical interface with medical communities across the region and help identify opportunities to grow accounts.

You will mentor junior specialists, lead trainings, and stay current on product developments, regulatory requirements and market trends while supporting remote and field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year in previous position.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Prior industry/competitive experience (if external).
• Solely dedicated to EP support.
• IBHRE EP certified.
• Top performer amongst peers.
• Ability to perform complex EP cases solo.
• Ability to mentor/train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.
• Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell EP portfolio.
• Vendor credentialing requirements (COVID-19 vaccination) may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support for EP products.
• Acts as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Develops, leads and facilitates trainings and programs on EP products.
• Provides regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up support to EP Sales.
• Mentors and provides leadership for less experienced Clinical Specialists.
• Remains current on developments in EP, regulatory requirements and industry trends.
