Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist to provide advanced engineering, sales and educational support for EP products in the US. You will act as a senior clinical interface, mentor peers and lead trainings while collaborating with physicians, nurses and sales teams.

The role requires in-depth EP knowledge, certification and a track record of handling complex mappings and customer education events. Travel is substantial and regulatory awareness is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year in previous position.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Prior industry/competitive experience (if external).
• Solely dedicated to EP support.
• IBHRE EP certified.
• Top performer amongst peers.
• Ability to perform complex EP cases solo.
• Ability to mentor/train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.
• Ability to conduct complex customer education events solo to sell the value proposition of the full EP portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and technical support in response to complex field inquiries involving EP products.
• Act as senior clinical interface between medical community and business.
• Build and sustain credible relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Develop, lead and/or facilitate trainings and programs on EP products to healthcare professionals.
• Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up support to EP Sales Representatives.
