Job summary

TE Connectivity in Wayne, PA seeks a Sr. Mgr Environmental Compliance to lead a risk-based, multi-site environmental program across Manufacturing sites.

You will shape strategy, embed compliance into planning, and partner with EHS, Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Legal and leadership to drive improvements. You will oversee permitting, waste and wastewater programs, data reporting, and governance, while guiding incident response, audits, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of progressive environmental compliance experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations, including multi-site responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple environmental regulatory programs, particularly air emissions and permitting, waste, wastewater/stormwater, chemical management, spill prevention, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to independently interpret regulations and permit conditions, assess applicability, identify compliance gaps, and implement practical, risk-based solutions.
• Experience developing compliance strategies, leading cross-functional initiatives, conducting assurance activities, and influencing site and business leadership.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, environmental management systems, digital compliance platforms, data analytics, and practical AI applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills; able to set priorities and execute with limited supervision.
• Professional certifications such as CHMM, PE, QEP, REM, or local equivalent preferred.
• Ability to travel to assigned manufacturing sites as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year environmental compliance strategy and annual priorities aligned with business operations and regulatory exposure.
• Assess environmental risk across sites and prioritize resources based on regulatory and environmental impacts.
• Integrate environmental requirements into business planning and management of change for equipment, processes, and facilities.
• Develop and deploy environmental management systems and governance.
• Identify emerging regulatory requirements and translate them into practical implementation plans.
