Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs, governs, and improves the firm’s enterprise application architecture aligned with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first strategy.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will guide architecture standards, roadmaps, governance models, and reusable patterns across Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technology architecture or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Strong communication and advisory skills to interact with business and technology audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns using Microsoft Azure services and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and guardrails for secure, scalable delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards and roadmaps in EA/APM tools like ServiceNow.
• Support governance through architecture review boards and solution approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams to identify risks, dependencies and integration challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices and maturity.
• Perform other duties as required.
