Tripleseat, a leading web-based event management platform for hospitality venues, is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering. You’ll scale delivery, set technical standards, and own the function’s AI-driven value. The role blends hands-on credibility with strategic leadership, reporting to the Sr.

Director of Engineering, and collaborating with Product across a fast-paced SaaS environment. You’ll guide a diverse team, recruit and develop leaders, and partner with Security on governance for

Qualifications

• 6+ years managing software engineering teams, with 2+ years managing managers or senior technical leads in a cloud-based SaaS environment.
• Hands-on technical credibility: able to review code, discuss architecture, and use the team’s tools to set standards.
• Experience mapping AI tooling and their impact on delivery and business value.
• Ability to forecast capacity, manage cross-team delivery, and partner with product and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pod with hands-on technical judgment and establish function-wide delivery standards.
• Be the escalation point for engineers and maintain close alignment with architecture and tooling.
• Own the AI value narrative with measurable outcomes and costs avoided; stay ahead of risks.
• Co-own planning, capacity forecasting, and governance with Product Managers and Data teams.
• Drive hiring, performance management, and career development across the function.
• Set up pairing and mentorship structures to accelerate growth and keep skills sharp.
