Job summary

Unissant, Inc. seeks a Principal Engineering Lead to guide engineering operations for a large federal IT services program. You will drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, and release governance, ensuring secure, reliable delivery aligned with mission needs.

The role requires strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise across cloud-native development, observability, and governance. You'll collaborate with product, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud, data, and operations leaders to define reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Extensive experience in federal IT services or comparable large-scale programs.
• Strong leadership, governance, and communication across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering standards, CI/CD, and release governance across delivery teams.
• Define SLO/SLA framework and reliability targets with stakeholders.
• Mentor engineering leads and cross-team engineers.
• Promote DevSecOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate incident response and post-incident reviews.
