Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or labor relations.
• 10+ years of progressive HR or labor relations experience with union exposure.
• Experience conducting investigations and managing union grievances.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, NLRA, and related laws.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee and labor relations issues, including investigations and discipline.
• Conduct thorough investigations into complaints (harassment, discrimination, retaliation) in union and non‑union settings.
• Manage formal union grievances and represent the organization in mediations/arbitrations.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions with HR leadership and legal counsel.
• Advise managers on policy interpretation and application of CBAs.
• Support collective bargaining and contract renewals; interpret CBAs and address compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and maintain updated policies.
• Partner with legal on complex matters and respond to regulatory charges.
