Advocate Health is seeking an Electrical Engineer Specialist Sr. to lead enterprise electrical strategy across facilities. The role is primarily remote with periodic travel for site assessments, audits, and project support.

You will own the Electrical Safety Program, standards, and regulatory compliance, guiding capital planning and lifecycle management while ensuring safety and reliability. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and interfacing with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Develops and advances enterprise electrical strategies across facilities.
• Owns Electrical Safety Program ownership and regulatory alignment.
• Establishes standards, policies and procedures enterprise-wide.
• Ensures NFPA, NEC, OSHA, CMS and other code compliance via audits.
• Leads capital planning, lifecycle management, and system modernization.
