Job summary

Hamilton is seeking an experienced Executive Underwriter for US Property on a hybrid or remote basis. You will drive underwriting for E&S Property exposures, manage broker relationships, and participate in travel to key partners. The role reports to the Head of U.S.

Property and focuses on building a modern E&S platform for mid‑market and commercial clients. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in E&S Property underwriting, strong analytics, and a track record of profitable results in a fast-paced

Qualifications

5+ years as an experienced underwriter with the majority of their career in E&S Property.
Demonstrated ability to produce profitable results in a fast-paced, high-volume underwriting environment.
Strong technical expertise in E&S Property risk drivers, including natural catastrophe exposure and construction types.

Responsibilities

Drive high-volume production by sourcing, triaging, and underwriting a large flow of E&S Property submissions.
Execute full underwriting workflow and engage brokers to generate submission flow and expand trading relationships.
Bind and authorize accounts within delegated underwriting authority and maintain broker relationships.
