Ladders is seeking a Senior Staff Developer - DSP to advance embedded DSP solutions and shape platform strategy. You will work with technical and business stakeholders to influence architecture, improve reuse, and guide implementation in a complex environment.

This remote US-based role demands deep DSP knowledge, systems thinking, and the ability to influence priorities while enabling efficient, scalable engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or CE.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 8+ years in DSP algorithm design and implementation (FFT, IIR, FIR).
• Experience with microprocessors/microcontrollers and embedded software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect effective DSP design solutions from complex requirements.
• Provide strategies for platform and technology development.
• Drive platform reuse and data-driven decisions.
• Lead cross-functional councils and stakeholder discussions.
• Communicate complex messages and guide backlog priorities.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and guide teams.
• Define architecture enablers and oversee implementation.
• Provide timely updates on issues and risks.
• Capture detailed stakeholder requirements and perform impact analysis.
