Job summary

IBM Software seeks a Senior Engineer to drive end-to-end development of WarpStream, a Kafka-compatible, cloud-native data streaming platform built on object storage. You will work on storage engines, multi-tenant control planes, and new features such as transactions and cross-region clustering, across a fully remote, globally distributed team.

You will build high-performance backend services, troubleshoot complex stacks, ensure SLA attainment, and collaborate across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend design, scaling, and production support.
• Proficient in Java, Go, C/C++, or Python.
• Experience with distributed and storage systems.

Responsibilities
