Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior Director of Government Programs (Federal and/or State) to lead the overall P&L of Cotiviti Government Service contracts, oversee delivery, quality, and client satisfaction, and mentor staff in a remote work setup.

The role requires 10+ years in healthcare government programs, deep knowledge of federal and state contracting, and strong leadership, budgeting, and strategic planning. Base pay ranges from $154,000 to $196,000 annually, with discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years account management experience in a healthcare insurance environment; Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred; financial background.
• 5+ years’ experience in government program integrity/payment integrity.
• 5+ years’ experience directly managing staff – Required.
• 5+ years project management experience – Required.
• Knowledge of Federal and State Government Healthcare Contracting.
• Knowledge of Claims Processing and Reimbursement Methodologies.
• HIPAA Privacy and CMS security rules knowledge.
• Excellent client management and business development.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders; executive presentations.
• Negotiation and collaboration at an executive level.

Responsibilities

• Directly (and indirectly) manages staff responsible for Government contract delivery.
• Plans, budgets, and manages Government contract, including P&L oversight and staffing.
• Communicates contract performance to clients; manages risk and drives satisfaction.
• Mentors contract/operational staff and develops strategic business objectives.
• Develops proposals and budget justifications for new task orders and extensions.
• Builds relationships with clients and partners to drive growth and expansion.
• Shaping needs and expansion opportunities to optimize service delivery.
