Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead FP&A for Purchasing Power in a retail-focused, AI-enabled finance function. You will partner with senior leaders to modernize planning, forecasting, and decision support while building scalable processes and leading a high-performing FP&A team.

The role requires 10+ years in FP&A with retail experience, strong modeling, data storytelling, and collaboration across merchandising, ops, tech, and accounting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A or related experience, including leading teams.
• Retail experience with understanding of unit economics, margins, merchandising, and customer behavior.
• Ability to partner with business leaders and influence operational decisions.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics with link to operational drivers.
• Excellent communication to present executive-level insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting with operational alignment.
• Serve as financial partner to leaders across merchandising, operations, technology, and servicing.
• Drive visibility into unit economics, customer behavior, margins, and KPIs; translate insights into actions.
• Build and modernize forecasting models, dashboards, and operational reporting.
• Lead AI and automation adoption across FP&A to improve efficiency and insights.
• Support scenario planning and investment analysis for strategic decisions.
• Partner with Accounting and central PROG finance teams for data accuracy and alignment.
• Build scalable processes; mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
