Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Director to lead the enterprise-wide Project Portfolio Management function. This remote role is hireable in multiple states and focuses on prioritization, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics to drive portfolio value.

You will partner with executives and delivery teams to optimize adoption, data accuracy, and governance of PM practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience in Strategy, Finance, Analytics
• High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Strategy, Finance, Analytics

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Leadership – Drive enterprise-wide project prioritization and sequencing to align with goals.
• Capacity & Demand Management – Forecasting, resource planning, and trade-off decisions for delivery.
• Governance & Methodology – Establish and refine PM standards and governance across the enterprise.
• Financial Oversight – Monitor budgets, spend vs. forecast, and ROI of portfolio investments.
• Reporting & Analytics – Deliver exec-level reports and dashboards; surface trends and risks.
• Leadership & Influence – Partner with executives to enable decision-making and cross-team alignment.
