Job summary

Granicus is seeking an engineering leader to drive internal AI transformation across the company. This role will own the strategy, buildout, and adoption of a secure, scalable internal AI platform enabling employees to safely use AI-powered workflows and agents within core processes.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy & Transformation, you will work cross-functionally across Engineering, Security, IT, Legal, RevOps and business leaders to translate AI capabilities into measurable

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years leading engineering or platform teams.
Experience building internal platforms or enterprise apps.
Strong understanding of modern AI systems and platform architecture.
Experience with governance, security, and observability requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, architecture, and execution of Granicus' internal AI transformation.
Build and scale a centralized AI platform for safe AI workflows and copilots.
Drive AI integration into enterprise systems and CRM/analytics platforms.
Define operating model, governance, and lifecycle for internal AI.
Partner with Security, Legal, IT, and Engineering to ensure guardrails and controls.
Define standards for model access, prompts, and agent orchestration.
