Job summary

WellBeam is hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own and improve AWS infrastructure, pipelines, and production security. You’ll act as the internal security lead for SOC 2 and HIPAA, collaborating with Engineering / Platform and external advisors.

You will consolidate responsibilities, automate operations, and ensure secure, reliable production at scale while partnering with cross-functional teams across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, cloud infra, with 2+ years security ownership.
• Deep hands-on AWS production experience: ECS, IAM, VPC, RDS, KMS, CloudTrail.
• IaC experience with CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform; secure CI/CD design.
• Strong security fundamentals: least privilege, encryption, logging, incident response.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 and HIPAA audits.
• Production monitoring and incident response across apps, networks, and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own technical controls and evidence for SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA.
• Lead security posture, encryption standards, secrets and key management.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and security scanning integration.
• Automate security, reliability, and incident response at scale.
• Coordinate third-party security assessments and remediation plans.
