Job summary

KATBOTZ is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & Security Consultant to support global projects from a remote location. The role emphasizes secure CI/CD pipelines, IaC automation, cloud security governance, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen enterprise infrastructure.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in DevOps/Cloud/Security, strong container security with Kubernetes/Docker, and hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD tools, and SIEM.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker expertise with container security.
• Proficiency in security tooling: SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM and endpoint protection.
• Knowledge of networking, encryption, Zero Trust and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage secure CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Automate infrastructure deployment with IaC and cloud security governance.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure secure application delivery.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis and risk mitigation.
• Monitor and respond to threats in cloud, on-prem, and container environments.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives and documentation for operational procedures.
