Job summary

First Citizens is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer for a remote role that may hire in NC, TX, AZ, GA. You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex data processing systems, building secure CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring production reliability.

You will collaborate with Development, QA, Security, Governance, and IT teams, apply Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible, and operate in OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in software development or 8+ years with HS.
• 8+ years in DevOps, Platform/Cloud Eng, or related fields.
• Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in IaC using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD implementation and pipeline maintenance.
• Infrastructure automation on cloud platforms using IaC.
• Automation of manual processes via scripting.
• Monitor and improve system reliability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security and governance.
• On-call support 24/7 rotations.
