Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a Senior DevOps Validation Engineer to design, build and automate validation frameworks for cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and platform services powering Keeper’s products. This is a 100% remote role with a hybrid option for candidates in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software, DevOps or infra automation
• Experience building maintainable automation and validation tooling
• Strong programming in Python, Go or similar
• Hands-on AWS infra and networking (VPCs, subnets, IAM)
• Experience with IaC technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Experience with logs, metrics and observability tools
• Security/hardening and compliance awareness
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Design automated validation frameworks for cloud infra and deployments
• Develop production-grade automation and test utilities
• Validate AWS infrast ructure components (VPCs, IAM, security groups)
• Build tests for Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Integrate validation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Create integration, regression, and resilience tests for infra changes
• Test Kubernetes and container environments for reliability and security
• Verify evolution of infra/configs without breaking services
• Ensure CIS, STIG and compliance alignment in validation
• Develop tooling to detect drift and deployment defects
• Analyze logs and metrics to troubleshoot complex failures
• Collaborate with DevOps, Platform, Security and Compliance teams
• Support audit readiness with automated validation evidence
• Improve observability and diagnostics for validation workflows
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding and analysis
