Job summary

Zealogics is seeking a Senior DevOps Lead to drive enterprise DevOps practices across cloud-native and hybrid environments. You will lead DevOps engineers, shape standards, and champion automation, reliability, and security.

The role is remote and contract-based for twelve months, requiring hands-on cloud expertise (Azure and AWS), IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes strategy, and strong leadership to align roadmaps with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience, with 7+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering or site reliability.
• 3+ years directing DevOps groups or enterprise platform initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, CI/CD tools, IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting, Linux, networking and security.

Responsibilities

• Direct DevOps engineers across application and platform groups, guiding junior team members.
• Set shared DevOps rules and build delivery pipelines and automated infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Shape Kubernetes rollout and operations, and create infrastructure automation with Terraform and related tools.
• Strengthen observability, incident handling, service reliability, release controls, rollback plans and disaster recovery.
• Run sprint planning and roadmap work, backlog ordering, staffing planning, and address compliance needs.
