Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking a Senior Deterministic Safety Analysis Engineer to contribute to BWRX-300 deterministic safety analyses. The role focuses on supporting transient analyses, thermal‑hydraulic analyses, containment analysis, and stability analyses across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include leading technical evaluations, preparing reports, and presenting complex issues to customers and interfacing with design and licensing teams to optimize solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar).
• At least 8 years of relevant nuclear experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of projects including evaluations and analyses in Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, and Thermal Hydraulic analyses.
• Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses for containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Loads, and RIPD analyses.
• Deliver products at a high, sustainable level per customer requirements and regulations.
• Prepare thorough technical reports, calculations, and documentation.
• Present complex technical issues to customers and recommend solutions.
