This entry level Deterministic Safety Analysis (DSA) Engineer position will make immediate contributions to the team responsible for BWRX-300 DSA, while being technically mentored by a team of high performing engineers. The DSA team is responsible for performing safety analysis in support of various applications for BWRX-300 transient analyses, thermal hydraulic analyses, containment analysis, and stability analysis.
The individual will work within an energetic team environment to perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses to support a variety of applications encompassing BWRX-300 DSA. This position offers limitless opportunity to learn the fundamental bases of nuclear power plant operations and safety analysis by applying state‑of‑the‑art thermal hydraulics methods to satisfy licensing requirements and solve real‑day plant problems. Additionally, this position has direct customer‑facing opportunities through training, deliverables, and collaboration. The DSA team offers unique opportunities to create and/or improve cutting‑edge automation and methods.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $69,600.00 and $120,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
