Job summary

CodeAI, a nonprofit education innovator, seeks a Sr. Designer & Art Director to bring the CodeAI brand to life across campaigns, video, social, and experiential assets. You will lead visual direction, collaborate with a copywriter, and shape a consistent brand system with production-ready deliverables.

We value senior designers with 8–10 years of experience, strong typography and campaign design, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Remote-friendly, with travel for team events.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years in graphic design and art direction, including senior level.
• Portfolio showing hands-on design craft and integrated campaigns with noted roles.
• Expert typography, layout, and composition with cross-visual style flexibility.
• Experience concepting with copywriters and produced campaign work.
• Experience art directing photo/video shoots through post.
• Experience building or evolving brand guidelines and guiding teams.
• Experience directing other creatives.
• Experience using AI tools in a creative workflow.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual direction of the CodeAI brand across channels.
• Design key campaign pieces and ensure accessibility across digital assets.
• Lead and direct shoots, guide contract designers, and provide clear feedback.
• Present work with strategic reasoning using audience insights and data.
