Job summary

G.E.H.A is seeking a senior Dental Policy & Quality Manager to own the clinical policy, CDT coding standards, and data quality for dental benefit programs. The role requires deep dental expertise, the ability to create defensible policies, and leadership across policy, education, and vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, health administration, health informatics, or related field is required.
• Deep dental benefit policy, CDT coding, and regulatory knowledge is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in dental benefits and policy development with leadership.
• Ability to translate complex policy, coding, and criteria into clear guidance for members, providers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own development, documentation, and maintenance of dental coverage policies and CDT coding guidelines.
• Lead the initial policy audit and realignment against CDT standards and vendor practices.
• Serve as the clinical policy authority for policy decisions affecting TPAs, vendors, and OPM filings.
• Coordinate CDT reporting and chair policy review processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide dental policy education content and SME support to internal and external partners.
• Establish and enforce policy governance, documentation standards, and research methodologies.
