Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Deep understanding of AI engineering patterns and LLM principles, with recent work using LangGraph or similar frameworks.
• Strong DS/AI knowledge from coursework and industry applications.
• Proven ability to lead projects from start to finish.
• Production experience with ML, NLP, Deep Learning, and/or LLM systems.
• Ability to create efficient, scalable Python code.
• Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on projects of diverse scope independently with weekly manager check-ins.
• Support and guide junior colleagues, including acting as team lead on shared projects.
• Propose solutions to business problems based on limited information and precedent.
• Solve problems by adopting, adapting, and extending DS/AI approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other functions to help create compelling learning experiences.
• Balance multiple projects and revise plans as circumstances change.
