Nxt Level is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform to help build the real-time ML data platform behind autonomous marine systems. You will design systems that ingest, process, and store diverse sensor data to produce model-ready datasets for perception and analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience building data platforms or ML infrastructure.
• Experience with dataset quality, lineage, and evaluation fidelity.
• Strong Python and data tooling.
• Experience with time-series or sensor data.
• API/SDK development for data access.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a real-time ML data platform for autonomous marine systems.
• Define how raw maritime signals become clean, labeled datasets for models.
• Build post-processing pipelines for multi-sensor data.
• Create backfill and reprocessing for historical data.
• Apply filters and metadata enrichments across large datasets.
• Establish lineage, versioning, and reproducibility for ML experiments.
• Build dataset discovery and access APIs/SDKs.
