Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Data Migration Engineer to join our team in Remote, Texas (US-TX), United States. The role combines data engineering with Oracle DBA expertise and leads technical delivery across design, development, testing, release, and production support.

You will architect complex data solutions using Python, dbt, Airflow, Oracle, and SQL, mentor developers, and drive automation and CI/CD practices while coordinating with stakeholders across onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience solving complex data engineering problems from design to delivery.
• 5+ years of Python experience including parallelism and batch processing.
• 5+ years of SQL experience with complex joins, window functions, and large datasets.
• 3+ years of hands-on dbt Core experience: model layering, tests, incremental materializations.
• 1+ years of Airflow experience: DAG authoring, task dependencies, scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design solutions for complex data engineering problems from design to delivery.
• Develop, deploy, and support dbt workflows across dev, QA, and prod.
• Design and develop reusable Oracle PL/SQL packages, schemas, synonyms, DB links, and jobs.
• Develop Airflow DAGs and manage scheduling, deployment, and monitoring.
• Manage Git branching, merges, and CI/CD release deployments.
• Troubleshoot workflow, database, and application failures with DBAs and developers.
