Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or a related technical role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into clear insights.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and data models in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema) and enterprise data environments.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Power Pivot).
• Strong SQL proficiency; ability to write complex queries.
• Familiarity with ETL/data pipeline concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and query optimization within Power Query (M).
• Own and manage the Power BI workspace structure, including workspace organization, dataset/dataflow management, row-level security, version control, and refresh scheduling.
• Partner with IT/database colleagues on the design and evolution of the enterprise data model, ensuring source tables and data elements support accurate reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc and recurring analyses using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Power Query to answer business questions and evaluate program performance.
• Document data definitions, table structures, dashboard logic, and query methodology to support consistency and auditability.
• Translate stakeholder requests into technical requirements and present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coach and support program staff in interpreting dashboards and promoting data literacy across the organization.
• Other related duties as assigned.
