Job summary

Spokeo, Inc. is actively seeking a fully remote Senior Data Engineer to enhance data systems by building ETL pipelines, storage solutions, and entity resolution processes using AWS technologies such as Airflow, PySpark, and DynamoDB.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and data science teams to create data products aligned with company goals and will implement unit tests and stress tests to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of development experience in data engineering within a production environment.
• 5+ years of experience with highly scalable, distributed systems and cluster architectures using AWS
• 5+ years of hands‑on programming experience with Python
• 5+ years of professional experience working in big data ecosystems, with Spark required and PySpark preferable
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure and data automation pipelines to ingest, process, and load data from various sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data science teams to develop data products aligned with organizational goals
• Create unit and stress-test components to monitor technical performance and resolve identified issues
