Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms and scalable pipelines. You will translate business requirements into robust architectures and deploy cloud-native data solutions to support analytics and ML initiatives.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, or Airflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and supporting production‑grade enterprise data engineering solutions, ETL pipelines, and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data structures, database design, distributed computing, data modeling, ETL/ELT methodologies, data warehousing concepts, and large‑scale data architecture principles.
• Advanced working knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, Scala, Java, and data engineering frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with batch and streaming pipelines, data lakes, and cloud‑native data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) and schema design.
• Strong SQL skills and experience designing dimensional models and data warehouses.
• CI/CD, Git, DevOps, infrastructure automation, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience deploying data platforms on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Troubleshooting, analysis, debugging, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities
