Job summary

Trility Consulting LLC is seeking aSenior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform by migrating prioritized workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will architect scalable data pipelines, build metadata-driven ingestion, and implement automated CI/CD workflows.

You will work hands-on with client engineers and leverage Claude Code to accelerate development while ensuring quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Azure Data Services including Fabric, Data Factory, Databricks or Synapse.
• Hands-on Fabric experience in production environments with lakehouses and pipelines.
• Proven ability to design metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and reusable patterns.
• Experience with Spark notebooks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and data transformations.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Experience with Git-based CI/CD and data platform artifact pipelines.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and catalog concepts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine Microsoft Fabric architecture including metadata structures and ingestion patterns.
• Design and implement a metadata-driven ingestion framework for onboarding via configuration.
• Migrate data sources from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric and build Fabric pipelines.
• Develop and orchestrate Fabric data pipelines and Spark notebooks using PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Analyze pipelines to understand dependencies and translate logic to Fabric solutions.
• Build data validation, reconciliation processes, and enforce data quality.
• Implement Git-based CI/CD for Fabric artifacts and automated environment promotion.
• Collaborate with client engineers, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge.
• Apply data governance, security, monitoring, and documentation best practices.
