Job summary

GDH is seeking a highly experienced Network Design Engineer to design and deliver large-scale enterprise network solutions. You will create scalable, resilient data center architectures and collaborate with implementation teams to ensure successful deployments.

Responsibilities include designing data center networks, producing HLDs/LLDs, BOMs, and working across Arista and Cisco platforms. Candidates should have extensive VXLAN/EVPN experience and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Proven success designing/implementing large data centers and enterprise networks.
• Deep VXLAN/EVPN fabric design knowledge with spine-leaf architectures.
• Ability to communicate design principles and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Experience in complex, multi-vendor environments with a focus on HA.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate large-scale Data Center networks (VXLAN/EVPN).
• Develop HLDs and LLDs aligned with standards and business needs.
• Lead or contribute to data center build-outs, migrations, and refreshes.
• Design and support enterprise LAN/WAN for large distributed environments.
• Prepare BOMs and implementation guidelines for deployment.
• Review designs through discussions and design reviews.
• Collaborate with multi-vendor teams (Arista EOS, Cisco).
• Apply routing, switching, resiliency, high availability, scalability.
• Document designs and maintain technical artifacts.
