Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Sr Software Engineer – Data and Integration. This remote, independent contractor role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integrations across ERP/CRM/PIM and e‑commerce systems.

You will work across data, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver reliable data solutions. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• 10 years of software engineering experience with data and integration focus.
• Strong programming in Java, Python, or C#/.NET.
• Experience building REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data quality experience.
• SQL with relational databases; JSON/XML/CSV formats.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tooling.
• Git version control and production-support mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations between systems.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, validation, and synchronization.
• Integrate ERP, CRM, PIM, e-commerce, and supply chain systems.
• Handle structured and unstructured data with quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot data and API issues and production incidents.
• Create reusable, scalable software components; support code reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers.
• Monitor data workflows for performance and reliability improvements.
• Follow CI/CD, testing, logging, and documentation best practices.
