Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Senior Data & AI Solutions Architect for a remote, long-term contract. You will design enterprise data and AI solutions across life insurance, investments, and related domains, serving as a domain expert and technical partner to stakeholders.

The role requires deep experience in data architecture, Snowflake, GenAI/LLM implementations, and complex migrations from legacy to cloud platforms, working with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years in financial services (life insurance, annuities, investments preferred).
• 3+ years hands-on Snowflake experience (Snowpark, Cortex, data sharing).
• 3+ years delivering production LLM / GenAI solutions (RAG, agents, finetuning).
• Proven legacy-to-cloud migration experience involving IBM DB2 or equivalent.

• Collaborate with business leaders and engineers to translate needs into scalable, governed architectures.
• Bridge legacy systems with cloud/AI-enabled ecosystems and large language models.
