Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a seasoned Data Solutions Architect to lead enterprise data strategy, ontology, and AI platform architecture. You will define patterns for Foundry, AIP, and data mesh while ensuring governance, security, and cost efficiency across Snowflake, Palantir, and AWS.

You will mentor architects, collaborate with Security, Governance, and Operations, and influence roadmaps that connect data investments to business outcomes. Remote-friendly with nationwide travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related roles, with 5+ years in an enterprise or domain architect capacity.
• 4+ years designing enterprise Data, Cloud, or AI architectures at scale.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling and ontology/knowledge graph concepts.
• Strong architecture experience with AWS and cloud-native patterns, integration, and IaC.
• Fluency in Python and SQL for evaluating designs and reviews.
• Experience architecting AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions with governance.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security architectures.
• Ability to mentor architects and set architecture standards.
• Collaborative cross-functional work with Architecture, Engineering, Product, Security, and Data Governance.
• Palantir platform adoption experience and insurance domain familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define reference architectures for Foundry and AIP capabilities and guardrails.
• Integrate Ontology with core systems and data platforms across the enterprise.
• Design data models, data mesh, and data products with governance in mind.
• Lead AWS-based data and AI pattern implementations (S3, Lambda, SageMaker).
