Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer to develop and test security tools and cloud deployments. You will oversee design engineering and testing for Humana EIP products and drive features from design to production release.

You’ll influence strategy and decide on technical approaches for complex project components. The role requires hands-on automation, cloud tooling experience, and strong communication across stakeholders in a remote-capable setup.

Qualifications

• Hands on automation experience with PowerShell and/or Python or similar language.
• 3+ years of experience with Security & Major Incident response.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure monitoring.
• Ability to write shell scripts.
• Proven ability to earn trust of project sponsors and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels (verbal and written).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong background in Agile environments.
• 3+ years in a Cyber Security focused role.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering of data protection and security tooling deployments.
• Understand and deploy on Azure and GCP Clouds.
• Create CI/CD pipelines on Azure environment.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage security solution lifecycle.
• Contribute to security solution R&D and evaluation.
• Act as SME on Privacera implementation and capabilities.
• Identify need for new security technologies and deploy them.
• Stay informed about latest security developments and mitigations.
• Participate in ROI, TCO analyses and business cases.
• Perform technical proof of concepts.
