Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer to develop and test information security tools and systems. You will oversee design, engineering, and testing processes for Humana EIP products, guiding projects from design to production release.

The role involves tackling complex security challenges and influencing strategic direction with stakeholders. Responsibilities include deploying on Azure and GCP, building CI/CD pipelines, performing risk assessments, and advancing data protection

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation experience with PowerShell and/or Python (beginner to intermediate).
• 3+ years in Security & Major Incident response.
• 3+ years in Azure DevOps environment.
• 3+ years in Azure monitoring.
• Ability to write shell scripts.
• Proven ability to earn trust with project sponsors & stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SDLC knowledge.
• Strong Agile experience.
• 3+ years in a cybersecurity-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Engineer data protection products and deployments per scope (e.g., Privacera).
• Understand and deploy on Azure and GCP Clouds.
• Create CI/CD pipelines in Azure environment.
• Perform risk assessments and manage security solution lifecycles.
• Contribute to R&D of data protection tools to meet strategic priorities.
• Act as SME on security controls and Privacera capabilities.
• Identify needs for new security tech and support deployment.
• Stay informed on latest security threats, tools, and mitigations.
• Lead proof-of-concepts for new solutions.
