Job summary

Humana is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer 2 for the Product Security Tools team. This remote role supports enterprise security tooling across applications, cloud environments, and development pipelines.

You will work with Product Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, and vendor teams to improve security posture, automate processes, and communicate with technical and leadership stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or related technical field.
• Proven commitment to continuous learning and professional development through training or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, configure, tune, and operationalize security tools.
• Integrate tools with CI/CD, dev workflows, cloud platforms, Splunk, ServiceNow, M365.
• Support AppOmni SSPM activities and Cycode secrets detection.
• Help operationalize Wiz, Checkmarx, JFrog/Xray, AppScan, Prisma Cloud, and related tools.
• Support cloud security controls across Azure/GCP/AWS.
• Create reports and dashboards for tool health and risk posture.
• Manage rules, access reviews, and vendor cadences.
• Troubleshoot outages and incidents in tools and integrations.
• Create SOPs, playbooks, KT docs, escalation paths.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security outcomes.
